This is the same Trip To The Moon that you will find in three other places on the Archive, one of them mine. I realized after uploading that those versions went at the video speed of 30 frames per second. Those movies were originally projected at 18 frames per second. I went back to my editing program but the closest I could come to it was 20 fps. I thought I would have to replace the music, but slowing it down like that did something t it which is not unpleasant. enjoy. â

Loeil is right. This is Excursion to the Moon by Segundo de Chomón. It has all of the material in this copy, but runs longer due to the lower frame rate.

This is :
Excursion dans la Lune by Segundo de Chomon (1908)

It is a copy of the Melies movie, a copy made by Pathé 6 years after ! It does have many of the key scenes of the original but it's poorly done. It is also much shorter.

Subject: Incomplete

This version is quite fine and it is indeed a great piece of film history but I consider it incomplete. There has been a reel of the final edit of this film discovered in a barn in France with a version that runs roughly 17 minutes. Also versions before that were somewhere around 11 or 12 minutes, which makes this cut an incomplete version.
